Hello Parent and Skiers!

We hope that you and your families had a great summer and fall. With winter knocking on the door, it is time for us to start thinking about the upcoming ski season…and RXCSF Youth Skiing!

Highlights for the 2012/2013 Season:

Program fee $50 for both Recreation and Sport Groups
First session November 3rd
RXCSF Uniform Order closes Friday November 9th
Swix NENSA Order closes October 22nd
Team Days at Park Ave Bike and Snow to purchase equipment at discounted rates with the guidance of coaches
Ski Instruction and Games during regular Saturday morning sessions for all
Thursday after school skiing
RXCSF Holiday Youth Skiing Race Camp for Sport Group participants
Mid-Atlantic Bill Koch Festival/RXCSF Youth Skiing Festival March 2nd and 3rd
NENSA Bill Koch Festival February 9th and 10th

To help with your planning to get ready for this season, here are some key upcoming events / dates for you to note:

Recreation and Sport Parents Meeting and Registration at Mendon Ponds Park Beach Parking Lot 9:00AM on Saturday November 3, 2012. This will also serve as the first practice for everyone. Interested families are welcome to come and learn more about our program for no charge but will be asked to sign a NYSSRA insurance waiver. Bring running shoes, classic poles and a water bottle. Be dressed to run and hike. Remember to bring completed registration form and payment.
HFL Ski Swap is November 17, 2012. Practice on this day will be at 1PM at Mendon Ponds Beach Parking Area to allow families time to attend sale.
Team sale events at Snow and Park Ave Bike have not been scheduled yet but should occur sometime in early November.
