Hi RXCSF supporters. I hope this letter finds everyone healthy and happy with Spring being here and warmer weather on its way. I’m sure there are some of you that would still rather be out on the snow on your favorite trails. My apologies for welcoming the warmer weather. Maybe roller skiing or water skiing might help fill the offseason void.
I would to thank our groomers that were out this season grooming at the parks. I like to think that we all did a good job as we all take pride in our work on the trails. I would also like to thank those who reached out and showed interest to become groomers this season. I really appreciated it. It was great to see so many of you wanting to learn and give it a try. However, most of you never made it out because we couldn’t organize the training session that was needed. I apologize. I’m planning on next season to get everyone out for a session. I hope that those of you that are on the new groomers list will want to remain on it. I also hope that we can continue to grow our groomers list. I feel that a great pool of groomers is key for RXCSF. Our lead groomers at the parks need to know that they have other groomers ready, willing and able to help carry the load.
I know at times that grooming this season was not perfect. I also know that things were not horrible either. Was and is there room for improvement? Absolutely. We will continue to make changes and add new ideas to make sure that we are all getting the best skiing experience we can. Grooming is one of the important aspects of our foundation, and we will continue to make sure we keep it that way.
Thanks to all of you, our groomers and the Board. Have a great off season. Enjoy that warm
weather. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions, concerns, feedback or ideas.
Stay Safe. Stay Healthy.
