Junior Racing Updates

The Mid-Atlantic Junior National Qualifiers have been posted HERE along with the Mid-A handbook which outlines the qualification guidelines.

Gore Mnt Mid-A JNQ Gore Snowbowl North Creek NY January 7th and 8th 2023

Empire State Games Mnt Van Hoevenberg North Elba NY February 4th and 5th 2023

Junior National Championships Fairbanks Alaska March 11th-16th 2023

The Mid-A Junior National Qualifiers are used not only to select athletes who will represent the Mid-A division at Junior Nationals but also those athletes who will be eligible to participate at Eastern High School Championships (Rikert Middlebury VT March 10th – 12th 2023) and NENSA U16 Festival (Fort Kent ME). Please review the qualification guidelines for Junior Nationals, EHSC, and U16 festival on the Mid-A website. All athletes must have a NYSSRA license to participate in the Mid-A JNQ races. Bill Koch Youth Ski League

Adult and Masters Racing

NYSSRA Nordic offers several races for adult and masters-level skiers across several different disciplines including Biathlon, Ski-Orienteering, and Nordic. All the information and racing calendar can be HERE.

World University Games 2023 Lake Placid

Lake Placid is hosting the World University Games (WUG) this January. WUG is a major international competition featuring the top student athletes from across the globe. You can find more information on the WUG HERE at the official website. They are still seeking volunteers for the games. Several positions are still open.
